Obituary Kyler Lee Robinson Kyler Lee Robinson, 21, of Pullman passed away at his home on October 4, 2015. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, October 17th. A viewing is scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm. Both services will be held at Christian Life Center at 1780 Lincoln Ave SE, Port Orchard, WA 98366. Kyler was born in September 1994 in Oahu, Hawaii, to Kristopher Robinson and Jennifer Tjernell. He lived his first three years of life on the island before his family moved to Port Orchard to be closer to extended family. He grew up in Port Orchard attending local schools and graduated from South Kitsap High School with the Class of 2013. He began classes at Washington State University (WSU) in the fall of 2013, studying criminal justice and psychology. After his first year at WSU, Kyler enlisted with the Washington Army National Guard, trained as a UAV pilot, and was assigned to D Co 898th BEB. He served a year on active duty during his training and returned to classes at WSU this past August. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at WSU. Kyler was an amazing young man who loved music and playing the drums, hiking, exploring the back roads, cars, and spending time with friends. He will be terribly missed by all who knew him and whose lives he touched. Kyler is survived by his parents and step-parents, Kris and Tami Robinson and Jennifer and Chris Andrews; siblings Justin Pipkins, Randy Pipkins, and Emi Robinson; paternal grandparents Bob and Cindi Robinson; and maternal grandparent Kay Tjernell, all of Port Orchard. He is also survived by an aunt, four uncles, many cousins, and a great-grandma. Memorial contributions in Kyler's honor are suggested to your local suicide hotline or other crisis agency that can help prevent a tragedy like this from happening again. Kyler's parents want to express to all people, young and old, that there is help available when you feel in crisis and suicide seems like the only way out.
