Ken Sagami

Obituary Ken Sagami Ken was born March 4, 1916 in Fife, WA and at the age of 93, died peacefully April 24, 2009. Ken graduated from Fife High School and lived in the Fife area most of his life. He was a member of Whitney Memorial United Methodist Church and Puyallup Valley Japanese American Citizens League. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football and baseball where excelled in high school. Ken is survived by sons; Tony of Bigfork; MT and Wesley of Seattle, daughter; Sheila (Kemal Gencoz) of Brier, WA, sister; Hayato Wallen of Chicago, brothers; Soya of Mazomanie, WI and Tom of Henderson, NV, 5 grandchildren; Kenji, Keiko, Kobe, Alex and Derek. He was preceded in death by his wife Hiroko, sister Michiko, brothers Jin, Wakao, Yohei, Yahachi and Kosumo. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009, 3:00 pm at Puyallup United Methodist Church, 1919 W. Pioneer, Puyallup, 98371. There will be a viewing prior to the service in the Fireside Room at the church beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment at New Tacoma Cemetery.
