Obituary Kathryn Sally (Charleson) Johnson Sally was born in Glasgow, Montana on February 25, 1935 to Donald and Kathryn Charleson. Soon after the family moved to Tacoma. Sally attended St. Patrick School, graduated in 1952 from Aquinas Academy and went on to attend the College of Puget Sound. While attending college Sally met and married Gary Johnson, also from Tacoma. Sally enjoyed the happy times with her three girls who are truly blessed to have received so much love, compassion, support and dedication from a loving and caring mother. Sally worked hard for years with her mother Kathryn in the family's north Tacoma restaurant, Charleson's. She later joined Nordstrom children's department for 15 years. Sally always made time to be involved with the girl's schooling as both a member of St. Leo's PTA, and Bellarmine Philomathea. Sally was surrounded by family when she passed away April 1, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Gary cared for her every day and was at her side making her smile and holding her hand. Sally will be deeply missed by her husband, Gary Johnson; daughters, Debbie McEntee (Dave), Tracie Habersetzer (Joe), and Lorrie Bordeaux (Tim); her 8 grandchildren, Megan Elswick (John), Thomas McEntee, Katharine McEntee, Joshua Habersetzer, Jennie Habersetzer, Amanda Bordeaux, TJ Bordeaux, and Allie Bordeaux; and her great-granddaughter, Norah Elswick. Sally is also survived by her brother, Lonnie Charleson (Kerry) of Orange County, CA; and her dear sisters-in-law, Yvonne Charleson of Billings, MT and Judy Morris of Pocatello, ID. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Charleson Sr.; mother, Kathryn Charleson; and her brother, Don Charleson. Sally will forever be remembered for her kind and loving heart. The family would like to thank the Tacoma Lutheran Home for the great care Sally received. Also, a special thank you to Catholic Community Services. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or Catholic Community Services. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
