Kathleen Marie Kukowski

Obituary Kathleen M. (Blazina) Kukowski was born on Jan. 11 1931, and passed away at home from cancer on January 21, 2007 surrounded by family. Kathleen was a woman before her time. After graduating from Seattle University, she traveled in Europe, then worked in the food chemistry field for several years. She married Jerome F. Kukowski in 1963, and had 4 children, all of whom survived her and are successful in their chosen fields, and three grandchildren. Kathleen and Jerry ran several successful businesses during the 1970's. When Jerry returned to Boeing as an engineer, Kathleen went back to school, learned COBOL programming and worked for Boeing until her retirement. After Jerry's unfortunately early death Kathleen traveled the country, lived for 2 years in Germany visiting her grandchildren, and volunteered numerous hours at St Vincent de Paul Society, The Serra Club, St Joseph's Hospital, The FISH Food Bank, and others. Her giving courageous sprit will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 26, 2007, 10:00 am St Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 2303 54th Ave E. Fife, WA 98424. Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 9:30 am also at the church. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to the St Vincent de Paul Society C/O St Martin of Tours or to the Franciscan Hospice
