Obituary Katherine (Dolack) Zydek Katherine passed peacefully away on March 12, 2012. Kay was born on May 1, 1915 in Stokett, Montana, but lived the majority of her life in Tacoma, Washington with her loving husband of 73 years, Richard (Dick) Zydek. Kay took pride in being a mother, homemaker, and friend. She delighted in entertaining and hosting people at her house and beach cabin. Kay enjoyed reading, playing cards, fishing, and travel. Kay is survived by her brother Dick Dolack, as well as her daughter Kathleen Reder (husband James), two granddaughters: Lynne Reder and Gwen Nyman (husband Jeff), and four great-grandchildren: Jordan and Cammie Thurston, Aidia and Leo Nyman. Kay's family would like to thank The Weatherly Inn for making her at home for the past seven years and Hospice for the care they gave in her final days.
