Obituary Karl Norman Hansen 1930 ~2008 Karl Hansen of Milton, beloved husband and father, passed away unexpectedly February 18, 2008 at the age of 77. He was born in Tacoma, November 6, 1930 to Harold and Violet Hansen. He was a 1949 graduate of Lincoln High School and worked for BF Goodrich and Carnation Milk Company before becoming a truck driver for various trucking companies, retiring as a self-employed truck driver. After retirement, the road was calling, so he continued to drive trucks part-time, which he was doing at the time of his passing. Driving was his passion and he loved traveling throughout the United States. We always said he was our human road map because he could give us directions to anywhere and all of the landmarks along the way. He is now forever at rest at the big truck stop in the sky. Karl is survived by his wife, Louise, 4 children, Jo Ann (Ron) Cox, Ken (Cindy) Hansen, Martin Hansen, and Lynn Pierce, 6 grandchildren, and two sisters, Marguerite Farmer and Janice Hansen. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours in Fife, Monday, February 25th at 11:00 am. Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held at Gaffney Funeral Home in Tacoma. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Please leave online condolences at www.GaffneyCares.com. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral Home, 253-572-6003.
