Julia Elizabeth Rediske

Obituary Julia E. Rediske, a Seattle resident for 47 years, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in an area nursing home. She was born on January 22, 1916 in Wilkeson, WA to Anton and Pearl Sterbick. Julia married Carl Rediske in 1949 and remained married to him until his death in 1974. Julia had a long work history. She started working for McKale's Gas Co. at the age of 19. From there she worked for Union 76 Oil for many years, retiring in 1986. This period covered a combined total of 51 years of business experience. After her retirement, Julia became a caregiver for her brother and sister. Throughout Julia's life, she was known for her generous spirit and numerous acts of kindness. Preceding Julia in death were her parents, Anton & Pearl Sterbick, brothers John Sterbick, George Sterbick & Peter Sterbick, sisters Helen Sterbick, Jennie Kanton & Sr. Virginia Sterbick. She is survived by brother, Michael Sterbick and sister, Marianne Cemelich, numerous nieces and nephews, good friend Bill & Marge Short, David Shemariah & John Brotny. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am.
