Obituary Josephine Olga Simcich, 88, passed away peacefully August 9, 2010 in Gig Harbor, WA. She was born in Stella, WA and lived at Clare Bridge at Shoreline View in Gig Harbor since 2002. She is survived by her daughter Linda Smith (Simcich), and her son Ron Simcich and Bob Owings. Sister-in-law Velma Peterson. Her nieces' and nephews included: Delores Snider, Dinah Giffin, Debbie Sanders, Francis Naglich, Richard Lozo, Darlene Hickman, Rosemarie Reed, and many cousins from the Naglich, Sudar and Dragich Families. Preceding her in death was her husband Rudy Simcich of 54 years, her sister-in-law Mary Jane Stemberger. Josephine was the last remaining sibling of 7 children; Katherine Naglich (Lozo). Joseph Naglich, Frank Naglich, Mary Naglih (Keith), Nick Naglich and Jack Naglich. She worked for many years at Weyerhaeuser and Nalley's Fine Foods of Tacoma, WA. Josephine was one who loved people. She loved to entertain for friends and family, and loved to dance, garden, make apple strudel, sing and yodel. We would also like to thank the many friends and caregivers of Clare Bridge for their compassion, respectful, and loving care thru these many years.
