Joseph Kezele

Obituary Joseph Kezele, age 99, died peacefully at home Nov. 1, 2010. He was born Sept. 20, 1911 in Koehler, NM to parents Joseph Kezele and Margaret Racki Kezele. He was a Navy Veteran serving from Nov. 1940 until Oct. 1945, proudly serving on the U.S.S. Maddox during WWII and was also awarded a Purple Heart. Joseph married his wife Lillian M. Sullivan on May 26, 1946 in Somerville, MA. Joseph retired from the Metropolitan Park District; he was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, a member of the Tacoma Elks Lodge, an avid bowler and ballroom dancer.
