Obituary John F. Ropella After fighting many medical battles, John was called to the Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife, Mirella; John is now dancing in heaven with the love of his life. John is survived by children, Rosita Mayo (Gerry), Sandra Ropella, Boeh Dahn Sulden (aka Roberto Manuel), Mariano Manuel, Perlita Clark, John Ropella (Chelley), and Mary Hilliard; along with a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born November 2, 1932 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, John served 23 years in the U.S. Army (retired), and also retired from the U.S. Postal Service. John was a member of the Tacoma Elks Club. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 9:00am on Monday, December 28, 2015. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
