Obituary John G. Parker John G. Parker, 84, died October 19, 2008 in Puyallup. He was born February 13, 1924 in Tacoma and had been an area resident most of his life. John retired from the Federal Way Fire Department and was a member of the Danish lodge where he was affectionately known as "Mr. Sister". He is survived by his wife, Karen, Puyallup; daughter, Joanne Schoenfeld, Hayes, VA; son, John R. Parker, Redmond; 7 grandchildren and a large extended family of step-children and step-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his wives, Effie Mae and Ella; and a daughter, Sharon K. Diedrick. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2008 3:30 pm, at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Federal Way Fire Department in John's name.
