Obituary John Ruka Meisnest John Ruka Meisnest, born in Seattle on July 20, 1940, died peacefully in Puyallup at Good Samaritan Hospital on Monday, December 7th, 2009. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Alma and Kenneth Meisnest of Medina, Washington. He is survived by loving family members Sue, Keith, Bill. Helen and Mary. John's life throughout the last thirty years was greatly enriched by the wonderful and outstanding staff and caregivers at the Rainier School in Buckley, Washington. The staff and friends at Rainier School enjoyed and appreciated John's wonderful humor, creativity, loyalty and patience. He had many treasured friends for which he was so grateful. In addition, the family is especially thankful for Johnny's attending physicians and nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital for their compassion and excellent care.
