John Thomas Mccormick

Obituary John T. McCormick, III John T. McCormick, born in Tacoma on November 1, 1920, passed peacefully on January 5, 2009. He attended St. Martin's University, graduated in 1942 and married his sweetheart Virginia Lee Radke the same year. Tom joined the Army Air Corps and served as a pilot in the E.T.O. Upon returning home, he opened an accounting and tax service on the corner of 6th & Union and retired in 2004. Tom was a member of Prince of Peace Church and loved spending time at home in Dutchers Cove with his family. He is survived by his children Marlyce (Jim) Worley, Colleen (Jerry) Thompson and Tom (Connie) McCormick; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 1:00 pm, with viewing prior to services. Please leave online condolences at www.GaffneyCares.com.
