John Kahaniak

Obituary John Kahaniak, 91, died December 31, 2005 in University Place. John had retired from Pierce County as an engineer and had served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was also a P.O.W. during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife Mary, children: Lynn Smith, Susan Waldorf, step-daughter: Drina (Marco) Morga, sister: Sophie Kurry and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Margaret. Funeral services will be Friday, January 6, 2006, 1:00 p.m. at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
