Obituary John B. Hitchins Born Aug. 14, 1941 in Lansing, IA, resided in Tacoma since 1966 and passed away Oct. 5, 2011. He retired from Lucent after 39-1/2 years of service in the Bell Phone system. An avid golfer, he is survived by wife Linda, sons Ben & Wade, brother Joseph of Yuma, AZ, sisters Angela & Alice Hitchins, nephews Richard Hitchins and Steven Gillihan Jr., niece Carla Williams, great-nephews and two great nieces. Services will be held at Visitation Parish on Wed., Oct 12, 2011 with Rosary at 10:30 am followed by Mass at 11:00 am.
