Obituary John R. Gosselin 1956-2011 John passed away suddenly at home on October 5, 2011. He graduated from Foss High School. He owned his own Landscaping and Painting business. His hobbies were building models and music. John loved a good joke, but even better, he loved telling jokes. John loved making others laugh, spending time with his family, and gathering with family for big meals and his favorite deserts. He loved frolicking with his nephews and nieces and spending time with his friends, particularly movie nights at his home. John loved making models and playing guitar. He also enjoyed hiking and camping. John loved doing things "his way" and loved being his own boss. John marched to the tune of a different drummer. John had many incredible traits that really made him stand out in a crowd. John was very generous. If any of his family or friends needed anything, he would do his best to get it for them. John was very playful. He loved giving the biggest and best gifts to his nephews and nieces at Christmas and would roll around on the floor to play with them and their new toys. John was very honest. One day a grocery clerk accidentally gave him back the $100 bill he used to buy groceries. Even though that was all the money he had, he brought it back in and returned it. John had a very good work ethic and worked hard for his customers and family. He was very conscientious about doing the job right, even if he lost money doing it. John was very trusting of others. John, you will be missed. We will miss your jokes, your laughter, your many funny faces and the special way you made us all smile. We love you, and we will NEVER forget you and the gifts you gave us. John is survived by his parents Bob and Mary; siblings: Dave (Nadine), Jim, Mark (Cheri) Gosselin and Laura (Brian) Readdy; nephews and nieces: Brian, Diane, Aubrey, Blane, Drew, Clara, Aidan, and Ella. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated October 12th at 11:00 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Tacoma. Memorials to St. Charles Borremeo food bank or St. Vincent de Paul Society, Tacoma would be preferable.
