John Jack Everson Sr.

Obituary John A. Everson, Sr., was born May 31, 1922 and went to be with his Lord on December 23, 2005 at the age of 83. Jack will be remembered and cherished by his family and friends for his sense of humor, gentle wisdom, unwavering kindness, and his selfless generosity. He was a wonderful role model for his children and grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Henry E. and Nancy E. Everson and his sister Phyllis Ammons. He is survived by his wife Mary Evelyn, daughter Joan Cook (Cliff), son John A. Everson, Jr., and grandchildren Christopher, Shannon and Sean Cook, and Michael and Rachel Everson. Jack was a veteran of World War II, having proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of St. Patrick Church since 1947. Jack had worked in the wholesale plumbing industry for 66 years. At the time of his death, he was working for Stacy Plumbing Supply Co. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, North 12th & J, 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2005. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Patrick Church, 1001 N.
