Obituary JODIE HIETPAS Jodie Marie Hietpas "Jodie-bug" was born Jodie Marie Hietpas on 12/29/76 & went home to see her Lord & her sister, Jennifer on 4/23/10 ~ totally healed at the age of 33. She is survived by her parents, John & Pam Hietpas, Tacoma; sister, Heather Liufau (Joe), Tacoma; brother, John Hietpas Jr., O'Hop Lk., Eatonville; sister, Dawn Merecki (Sean), Fredericksburg, VA; grandmother, Eve Roberts, Spokane, WA & 7 nieces & nephews, Sefo, Saia & Malia Liufau, Jonah, Abby & Justin Hietpas; Nathan Merecki & numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. She loved sports, played on Metropolitan Parks bowling, volleyball, BB, softball & soccer teams. But the love of her life was attending Bellarmine basketball & football games. You could always find her manning the gate on the field, "psyching" people out & cheering on her beloved "Lions". She was their #1 fan. Jodie had a great spirit & sense of humor. She touched many lives & will be greatly missed. There will be a Rosary for Jodie on Wednesday, 4/28/10 at 7:00 PM & a "Celebration of Life" on Thursday, 4/29/10 at 10:00 AM, both at Visitation Church on 3314 S. 58th St., Tacoma, WA.
