Obituary Joan Agnes Allen Chilton Joan Agnes Allen Chilton was born July 25, 1936, in Pipestone, Minnesota, and passed away November 23, 2009 in Seattle. She moved with her family to the Auburn area when she was a young girl, where she attended and graduated from Auburn High School. Joan then married and had three children; Mark, Mike and Cathy Chilton-Tabor. She retired from a Tacoma law office after working for more than 20 years. Joan lived in the South Tacoma area for many years. She was an avid reader and loved animals, music, gardening, and bonfires. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Gene) and her 6 grandchildren, John, Casey, Catherine, David, Josh and Samantha. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 28th at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1201 No. J St. Tacoma, WA 98403. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
