Obituary Jimmie Lee Robinette Jim (JD to his family) age 80, of Tacoma, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2015. Born, August 12, 1935, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, Jim graduated from Pennington High School, attended college and served in the Army at Fort Lewis. Over the years he worked for Firestone, Pay n Save and Northwest Handling. Jim was a gentle, devoted, loving father and husband. He enjoyed his many animals, woodworking and DIY projects. He truly will be missed by family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Robinette of Tacoma; sister, Mary Money and nephew, David Money of Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores of 52 years; his parents, Ernest and Alice Robinette; and sisters and brothers. Funeral services celebrating Jim's life will be held at Gaffney Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00pm. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
