Obituary Jimmie Crane, 61, suffered a stroke March 29 and died without waking on April 4, 2005. Born December 17, 1943 in Sandpoint, ID, he lived in the Tacoma area since 1964. Jimmie's kind heart, happy disposition, and not-so-quiet presence will be missed dearly. Jimmie served four years with the US Air Force and worked many years in the steel and RV industries of Tacoma. He was currently employed as a machinist by the City of Tacoma, Environmental Services. He is survived by Pat, his wife of 26 years, and his children: Daughters Pamela (Martin) Hoffman of Port Orchard and Andrea (David) Mathison of Lakewood; Step-son Frank Jay (Jennie) Wilson of Purdy; foster-daughter Kimberly (Steve) Hunt of Roy. He was the proud grandpa of 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by (3) sisters, (2) brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruth Crane of Sandpoint, ID and his oldest brother, Collins Crane of Montana. Funeral Services will be celebrated Friday, April 8, 2005, 1:00 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2455 South 78th, Tacoma, WA.
