Obituary Jean Eloise Todd Trucco Jean was born on August 28, 1921 in Tacoma, WA to Olga Todd and passed away at home in Edgewood on October 19, 2013. She was raised in Edgewood, WA and attended the original grade school in Edgewood, which she spoke of often. She graduated in 1939 from Fife High School. Jean attended Pacific Lutheran University in Parkland, WA graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. She taught at the school in Alder, WA, Milton Grade School and substituted for the Fife School district for many years. Jean married Joe Trucco on June 12, 1943 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Fife, WA. She loved gardening and was a founding member of the Wishing Well Garden Club in Milton, WA. She was also a Master Gardening Consultant through the National Garden Clubs, INC. Jean was also a great reader and did the two daily crosswords until recently. She was a member of Sweet Adeline's for several years. She is survived by her son, Kevin (Myra) Trucco; daughters, Beth (David) Hilton and Leslie (Bill) Hilton; grandchildren, Nicole, Marc, Meghann, Matthew, Maria, Alexis and Erik; and great grandchildren Ian and Bella Rose. She was preceded in death by her mother, Olga; her husband, Joe; and her children, Lee, Lynnette, and Daniel. Private family services and entombment will be held at Calvary Cloisters.
