Jean Marie Mollenhauer

After a courageous battle with cancer, Jeanie departed this world and was welcomed home on May 26th, 2024.  She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  Jeanie was born in Tacoma, Washington, the oldest of 4 children.  That role of “big sister” set her up for all her life events to come.

She worked for 10 years at the post office.  She then went on to become the director of Our Inn-Spiration Child Care Center in the north end of Tacoma.  Here she found her true calling.  This community meant so very much to her.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence; her children Lian and Devin; her mother, Claudia; and her siblings Steve, John, and Maree.  She is preceded in death by her father, Ken, and her step father, John.

Funeral services will be held on June 21st, 2024 at Holy Cross, 5510 N 44th St, Tacoma, WA 98407 @ 11:00 am with reception to follow at the church hall.
