Jayce Ryan Kaiser, aged 38, passed away on August 1, 2024, in Tacoma of natural causes. He was born on December 7, 1985, in Tacoma to Daniel Kaiser and Rhonda Messo-Kaiser. He was a 2004 graduate of Curtis High School and a 2008 graduate of Santa Clara University, where he served as president of his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha. He spent two years in Tanzania with the Peace Corps, where he climbed Kilimanjaro, and stayed in country for another five, working on wind farm projects with The World Bank. For the last few years, he worked with special needs children in local schools.
A proud singer, Jayce was someone you would hear before you saw him. With the spotlight always on him, not only was he the lead in countless musicals, he was even selected on The Price Is Right and walked away with a new car! Jayce will always be remembered for his boisterous personality, his enthusiasm to help his community, and his passion for LGBT rights, volleyball, tennis, Survivor, and, of course, his snort.
He is survived by his parents, Dan and Rhonda, his older sister, Jaclyn Kaiser, and her partner, Mollie Buchanan, and his younger sister, Carly Kaiser.
Family and friends are invited to join us in a celebration of life on Saturday, August 17, from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
The Adriatic at Oakbrook Golf Club, 8102 Zircon Dr. SW, Lakewood, WA 98498.
What to wear: Dressy casual with COLOR! We all know Jayce would hate it if we all showed up in black.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to Rainbow Railroad, www.rainbowrailroad.org, a non-profit that works to get LGBT people around the world to safety
