Obituary Jay W. Fuchs Jay Fuchs, 65, died March 11, 2006 surrounded by his family at Franciscan Hospice House. Jay grew up in Tacoma. He attended Holy Cross School, graduated from Bellarmine Prep in 1958 and attended Gonzaga University in Spokane before returning to Tacoma. He retired from Puget Sound Bank after 32 years of service as a Vice President. He later worked as CFO for Tapps Brewery and H&R Block for 10 years. Jay had a passion for golf and was an active member of Fircrest Golf Club, and he was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Jay also supported and contributed to a Catholic orphanage in Mexico, Friends of Pimpollo. He is survived by his wife, Peggy, children: John (Sherri) Fuchs, Bellingham, Janine (Chris) Baker, Gig Harbor, Joseph Fuchs, Seattle; grandchildren Maggie, Sammy, Tiffany, Trent, and Tianna. Jay is also survived by sisters Penny (Dennis) Patterson, Kathy (Tim) Doonan, brothers Patrick Fuchs, Timothy (Dee Dee) Fuchs and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 14, 2006, 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rosary will be Monday, March 13, 2006, 7:00 p.m., also at the church.
