Obituary Janet Cecilia Frett Janet Cecilia Frett was born December 18, 1937 in Stevens Point, WI, died with her family beside her on November 6, 2008. She grew up in Chicago, Il. It was there that she met her husband and the love of her life, Vernon. They were married in January of 1956. The army brought the couple to Tacoma in 1958. They had four children: Skip (Kathy), Patty, Dennis (Kelly), and Joe. Five grandchildren, Nicole (Felicia), Jennifer (David), Mathew, Hillary, and Allison; Two great-grandchildren, Saij O'Neil and Ethan. Janet was a mother, a grandmother, and a friend to countless others who became a part of a large extended family. Janet worked for St. Charles Borromeo for almost 30 years and was loved there by many. The Lakewood Emblem Club was also an important part of her life, there she worked, flourished, and made even more friends. Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband Vernon on October 27, 2008. They were together for 52 years and are now together forever. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 11:00 am St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Charles Church.
