James G Manza

Obituary James Gaetano Manza (Jim), born March 25, 1945, passed away Friday, December 29, 2006. He loved his family, friends, and community profoundly. A true benefactor, his generosity was a blessing to all. Jim valued his Jesuit education and treasured his memories of Bellarmine Prep and Gonzaga University. He celebrated his family and friends through his passion for cooking. Jim is survived by his wife, Kathleen, the Chanfrau Family (daughter Erin, son-in-law Steve, and granddaughters, Ginger and Holly), the Lindstrom family (daughter Brandy and son-in-law Sam), siblings Janice, Rockelle, and Anthony, and a large extended family. Jim and his family would like to thank everyone at St. Clare's Hospital for their compassionate care, and family and friends for their concern and support. To commemorate his life a Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 4, 2007, at 11:00 AM at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 1403 S. Ainsworth Ave., Tacoma. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Rita's Scholarship Fund would truly honor Jim's memory.
