Obituary James Allen Van Horne James Allen Van Horne, born April 15, 1941, died May 24, 2007 at home. He was a lifetime Tacoma resident, army veteran and retired from the Milwaukee Railroad. Jim's real passion was cars and he loved building street rods, he was a member of the Old Timers Car Club. Jim is survived by his brother and sister in law, Jerry and Shirley Van Horne, and two daughters, Debbie and Lisa.
