Obituary James Dean Erker James Dean Erker was born in Tacoma, WA on August 5, 1960 and passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 7, 2015 at the age of 54. Jim was a loving, caring father, who had an endless stream of jokes and wit. His humor could lighten anyone's mood on any day. He was a generous man who would give you the shirt off his back if it would make you happy. He loved being around his family, camping, river rafting, taking vacations, and being outdoors. Jim was a spontaneous man who loved adventure and having nothing but a good time. He is survived by his children, Travess (Katie), Trenton, Brittnee, and Jimmy Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Payton, and Avery; siblings, Patricia (Jim), Dan (Colleen), Bob (Jerie), and Tom (Martha); and ex-wife, Lesa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Sally Erker. You'll be forever missed, but never forgotten. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Ann's Catholic Church (7001 S. Park Ave, Tacoma) followed by a reception.
