Obituary James "Jimmy" Bruce, Jr. James "Jimmy" Bruce Jr. was born May 17, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois. Jimmy went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tacoma, WA. He was surrounded by his friends and family. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, James Bruce Sr. and Marie Olivieri; and eldest sister, Shirley Oakley. Jimmy is survived by his son, Michael Bruce; sisters, Trudy, Anna, Mona, and Amelia; and brother, Raymond. Jimmy was a devout Christian and attended Lutheran Memorial Church, and Calvary Baptist Church. He truly enriched everyone's life he met and shared his home with. He was a true "HAWK" fan to the end. A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Eugene Wiegman on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 11:00am at the Chapel of The First Lutheran Church on 6th & I Street, Tacoma, WA with a reception to follow with his friends and family.
