Obituary Jake Colter, 56, died July 9, 2005 in Tacoma. He had retired from the Tacoma Public Utilities Department as a Field Investigator. Jake was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his son John, sisters Susie, Janie, Joyce and Mary, brothers Kenny and Robert, grandchildren Anna, Brooklyn and Jaden. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2005 at Gaffney Funeral Home, 1002 S. Yakima Avenue, Tacoma WA, with a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
