Iris Marie (Caillier) Dauphin

Obituary Iris M. Caillier Iris was born on May 27, 1926 in Tacoma and passed away peacefully on January 8, 2015 at University Place Care Center. Her family settled in the North End of Tacoma. She graduated from Stadium High School and worked at Nalley Valley for many years. Iris was a long-time member of St. Patrick and St. Charles Catholic Churches. She was married to two wonderful men; William Caillier until his passing in 1977 and Gilbert Dauphin until his passing in 1991. Iris is survived by her five sons and their families, Dennis (Sheila), David (Mikail), Bill (Joyce), Mike, and Brian (Chris); her brother, Norm Christenson; sister in-law, Dorie Cassman; and many nieces and nephews. Iris also had extended family who loved her in Minnesota. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 7:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1:30pm at Calvary Cemetery followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
