Obituary Ida Pellegrini Ida Pellegrini was born in Tacoma on October 4, 1923 to Salmonia and Pasquale Pellegrini. She passed away peacefully on the morning of September 7, 2009. Ida lived in Tacoma all of her life. She worked for many years at the Kirk Co., and retired from the Pierce County Accounting Department. Ida was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Ida is survived by her sister, Esther Whiteley, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jimmy, Julio and Ado, sisters Maggie and Ada, and nephew Mark Pellegrini. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 15, 2009, 11:00 am, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Monday, September 14, 2009, 7:00pm at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel, 1002 South Yakima Avenue. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
