Obituary Herbert Elberling Herbert Elberling was born in Ashby, Minnesota on September 13, 1916 and passed away on March 20, 2013. Herb graduated from Lincoln High School and served our country in the US Army during World War II in the South Pacific. Herb and his brother Irving opened the 48th Street Bakery and later he joined the Educators Manufacturers where he retired. He was a member of the Eagles and Tacoma Elks 174 for 50 years. This is a sad loss for his family and friends; we will miss this very kind and loving gentleman. Herb is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha, his brother, Irving and his beloved wife, Loretta. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:00am at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
