Helyn Anita Browne

Obituary HELYN ANITA BROWNE 1915-2008 Helyn Anita Browne, the daughter of Italian immigrants, Joseph & Josephine (Riggi) Maruca, was born on Nov.16, 1915 and went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2008. Helyn was the beloved wife of Francis J. Browne for 69 years. He was the owner of Browne's Star Grill in Tacoma. Helyn was blessed with three children, Francis "Skip" Browne Jr., Nancy Shonborg and Anita Browne (deceased). She is survived by her grandchildren, Christina Schock and Aaron Maruca (Emily) and many loving family and friends. Helyn was a graduate of St. Leo's and worked at the Pacific Match Co. She was an active member of St. Rita's Church since 1924, and a pro-life advocate. She will be greatly missed. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, 7:00 pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 16, 2008, 10:30 am at St. Rita's Church. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
