Obituary Helen Winter Gourley Helen Theresa Winter, (Helen Yukl) devoted mother of Bernard A Winter Jr. and Elaine M. Winter, was called to her heavenly home on 9/21/07. Helen was born February 17, 1910 to a musical Czechoslovakian family in New York City. Creative and talented she lived with zest and excelled in all that interested her. Most notably were flower gardening, sewing and dancing. She also worked ten years for the Internal Revenue Service in Tacoma. Helen married Bernard A. Winter on Sept. 2, 1931. He was on the design team for the B29 prompting their relocation from the East Coast. Her beloved "Barney" passed in 1974. She married Earl Gourley in 1983. They enjoyed fishing and RV traveling until his passing in 1993. You remain in our hearts. She is survived by, daughter in law, Karel Winter, granddaughters; Lisa Taylor Molitch, Pamela Winter, Grandsons, Grant A. Taylor, Steven Winter, Nevada; Bradley Winter, California; Great granddaughters, Kera H. Bartlett and Alexa A. Bartlett, California and nephew Tex Yukl, Idaho. Private services will be held.
