Obituary HELEN J. PRUETT Helen J. Pruett, 92, was born in East Helena, MT, June 3, 1914 and died in University Place on June 5, 2006. A Tacoma resident since 1920, she had worked in retail sales for more than 50 years. Helen continued working until age 91 at Pt. Defiance - Ruston Senior Center and the University Place Senior Center. She is survived by her daughter; Evelyn (Zach) Hays, grandchildren; Erin, Alissa and Colin Hays, great grandchild; Hayden Ledesma, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 3 grandnieces and 6 grandnephews. Helen touched the lives and hearts of all she met with her wonderful sense of humor and warm smile. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Cloisters Chapel. Viewing will be all day Friday, June 9, 2006 at Gaffney Funeral Home. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
