Helen Iola (Frederickson) Pifer

Obituary Helen Iola Frederickson was born on January 29, 1921 and passed away August 18, 2016 in Tacoma, Washington. Married to George Leroy Pifer on May 30, 1941, the couple recently celebrated 75 years of marriage. Helen was born in Spokane, WA to Edward T. Fredrickson and Lora Maybelle Oden. She had many talents and attributes which included modeling with Frederick and Nelson in Seattle, a career in banking, and most notably owning and operating the family floral business in San Jose, CA for over ten years and managing George's legal practice when they moved to Truckee, CA. She is survived by her husband George, three sons; Darrell, Robert and Frederick and two daughters, Linda and Helen Marie. She was preceded in death by a sixth child, Victoria. Additionally, she is survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Services will be held on August 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5510 North 44th, Tacoma, WA with reception immediately following in the church hall.
