Obituary Helen Olga Obenour Sept. 21, 1923 - Dec. 18, 2005 Helen passed away Sunday, December 18 surrounded by her loving family. Helen is survived by her husband of 63 years, John S. Obenour, children: Jay (Carol) Obenour, Judy (Michael) McNerthney, Janet (Donny) Bullard, Joan (Andy) Neuser; grandchildren Jack and Chelsey McNerthney, Calli, Trevor, Chris, Corey and Danielle Bullard, Katie, Aimee and Drew Anna Neuser and assorted granddogs. Helen was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Sara and George Cleverley. She was raised at Kelly Field, San Antonio, Texas, where she met and married John in 1942, and later moved to Tacoma in 1948. Helen enjoyed playing golf and cards with her friends and most of all being with her children, who were her favorite audience. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 1:00pm at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Browns Point. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
