Obituary Helen Meisnest Morse of Seattle died peacefully at Seattle Keiro on the evening of April 29, 2012 at the age of 82. Born in New York State on March 23, 1930, Helen attended The Bush School in Seattle and later graduated from Mills College in California. In her working career Helen was especially proud of her work at Harborview Medical Center and King Broadcasting, rising to station manager of King FM. Helen is survived by her daughter Jennifer Morse, grandson Scott Freitas, and cousins Mary Meisnest Reedy, Keith Black and Bill Black. She was predeceased by her daughter Jocelyn Morse. Helen's interest in people and life, and loyalty to her closest friends provided meaningful relationships for which she was always grateful. Special thanks are owed to these friends, who were such a source of solace to her in her last days and months. Saint Mark's Cathedral provided faithful and continual support and comfort to her. A Funeral Mass celebrating Helen's life will be held at the Thomsen Chapel in Saint Mark's Cathedral (1245 10th Avenue East, Seattle) at 2:00 pm on May 23, 2012, with a reception to follow in the Leffler Living Room, at St. Marks. In lieu of flowers a gift in Helen's memory may be made to the St. Mark's Cathedral for programs relating to peace and social justice.
