Obituary Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday morning, Nov. 122006. Born Sept. 13, 1923 in Kremlin MT to Edward and Mary Bohlig into a family of 8 children. She came from the treeless rolling hills of the Opheim prairies, loving to walk the prairie with her dog Terry, often thinking the clouds were so big and close that if she could just jump a little higher she could touch them. You can now Mom. Growing up in a small town she dreamed of being Ginger Rodgers, dancing and singing the night away. Mom loved her garden and trees creating a backyard forest. As children, we all spent many hours reading poetry, putting on plays and singing and dancing with our mother. She married the love of her life, Thomas Richard Harmon, 1947 at the Post Chapel, Fort Lewis, WA. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last week. In our loss, the world also has lost one of it's most precious possessions in Mom, a true caring and pure soul. She will be missed by us and all whom she touched. People were drawn to her joyful personality, radiant smile, and laughing eyes. She will be missed by all, but her spirit lives within all who knew her. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind her devoted husband, Thomas Harmon, brothers Charles, Jim, Dick, 6 children: Betty (Tim) Wolfe, Tom (Laraine) Harmon, Barbara Harmon, Dorothy (Pat) Plaister, Edward Harmon and Timothy (Michelle) Harmon; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren: and all her extended Holy Cross family and friends. She was preceded in death by her infant children Patricia, Michael, Christopher, sisters and brothers Rita, Dorothy, Edward, Leo and grandson Sandy "Bodhi". Accomplishments: College of St. Benedict, Minnesota, 1945. BA in Psychology and also as Oblate of the Sisters of St. Benedict, china painter, cake decorator.
