Obituary Hazel B. Seabeck Our Beloved "Blue-Eyed Syrene" is Hazel Blanche Seabeck, who, at 91 1/2 years alive-in-heart, was taken to Heaven at 4:05 am, on Thursday morning, 04/15/2010. When dawn broke that morning, the birds were singing, and a gentle breeze was blowing across the front porch of the home she loved on North Shirley Street. What matters most to us, her family, is that everyone whom she loved remembers and celebrates the lingering essence of goodness in her soul. Just like she and our dad loved to plant geraniums on the front porch every Spring, she planted our hearts with seeds of unconditional love. Our mother adored her husband Dan, and showed everyone his handsome pictures. Her grandchildren were the beginning and end in her soul! We, her two daughters, humbly acknowledge the extraordinary example of her generosity, sense-of-humor, gentleness, kindness and compassion. With even her last breath, we know she lived for us all! Gramma said "Honey, are you coming to take me home?" She said she knew her mother, Dickie(her son), and Lucas,(her grandson), were waiting for her, and we know....she is finally- safe, within their arms! Hazel's memorial mass will be held on Sat., 4/24/10 at 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church: 5510 N. 44th St., Tacoma. The family invites all of Hazel's friends to a following memorial celebration at 4:00 pm at her family home: 2710 N. Shirley St.
