Obituary Hazel Winfield Farber 1919 ?" 2009 Born in Newark, New Jersey, Hazel came to Tacoma in 1941 after she married her life partner, Irving Farber. Together they operated LeRoy Jewelers in downtown Tacoma. After Irving's death in 1965, Mrs. Farber continued to take care of customers until her retirement in 2006.She was a member of Temple Sinai and then Temple Beth El. Hazel is survived by her sons, Jim Farber (Sue Long), Steph Farber (Phyllis Harrison); granddaughters, Rachel Klee (Nate), Rebecca Farber and Shoshana Farber. Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2009, 2:00 pm, Home of Peace Cemetery, 5421 Steilacoom Blvd, Lakewood WA 98464. Please leave online condolences at www.GaffneyCares.com.
