Obituary Hattie Ruth Jordan Nov. 9, 1942 - Sept. 18, 2012 Hattie Ruth Jordan (Mom, Mommy, Big Mamma) passed away Sept. 18, 2012 at the age of 69. She raised her four children with little help and the toughness that would make a Marine officer proud. For many years she worked as a riveter at Boeing. Later she worked at the old Nalley Valley Pickle plant and worked as a model for channel 13. Ruth finished her education completing her Associates Degree at Tacoma Community College. Ruth enjoyed fishing, playing canasta on her computer and playing with her many grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Lynn Hancock, Kenneth Hanks, Stevie (Terry) Jackson and Maurice (Donnell) Hanks. Ruth also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sisters, Earnestine Townsend, Jean Edward and Doreen Juneau. Memorial services will be held, Thursday, Sept. 27, 4:00 pm at the 1002 So. Yakima Ave. Chapel. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
