Obituary Harriet Marie Pavek Schroader May 19, 1934 - May 14, 2009 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed from this life to the next after a long period of infirmity. She was born in Ashland, MT to Elsie and Edward Pavek who preceeded her in death. She had two sisters, Janice and Mary Anne and one brother, Louis. She is survived by her brother, her husband Claude "Russ" Schroader, seven children, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Harriet was born and raised in Ashland, MT and graduated from St. Labre High School. Moving to the Big City of Oakland, CA, she met and married Russ beginning a marriage that lasted 53 years. Harriet was devoted to her family and her Catholic faith. She loved to play piano and write music. With a probing mind and sharp wit, she loved to discuss and debate faith, political issues of the day, or other matters of principle and turn a sly or silly joke. Generous to all with her love and affection, all who knew her will miss her.
