Obituary Hardy Crisp, Jr. Hardy Crisp, Jr. died September 11, 2008 at the age of 83. He was born in Toones Tennessee, December 24, 1924. Hardy was a U S Army veteran, and worked as a gun smith and in small arms repair At Fort Lewis until his retirement. He was a member of St. Johns Baptist Church, where he was an usher, as well as a member of the Caballero's club. Hardy enjoyed fishing and bowling. Hardy is survived by his wife Hattie; daughters, Bernice (Shelton) Griffith, Columbiana, AL, Dianne (Terrance) Warren, Tacoma; sons, Gregory Crisp, Tacoma, Craig (Karen) Simms, Tacoma; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008, 11:00 am at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel, 1002 So. Yakima Ave. Private interment at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Gig Harbor.
