Haley Ann Rue

Obituary Haley Ann Rue March 6, 1995 - July 18, 2014 Haley was and will always be my heartbeat. She brought so much joy, love, and laughter to our home. With her, life was so easy, everything just clicked. She loved fiercely her grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was exceptionally close to her cousins Annelise and Emma who were like sisters to her. Haley lived her life with so much passion, brilliance and gratitude; she made everyone around her just that much better. She often wished there were more hours in the day. There was so much more she wanted to accomplish. Her greatest gift was her ability to communicate and connect with others. She was thoughtful, insightful, and wise beyond her years. She treasured her friends and family and we are forever touched by her. Haley graduated from the loving embrace of Concordia and Mt. Rainier Lutheran High School. She spread her wings at Harvard where she loved, she laughed, she cried, she grew, she travelled, she learned. She cherished her adventurous life and lived every moment fully. Haley leaves behind her loving family; her mother, Janet Rue; grandmother, Dorothy Rue; aunts and uncles, Sharon Rue, Kate Rue, Paul Johns, Steve Devoir, Skip Bullock; and her cousins, Tom, Ryan, Annelise, Emma, Russell, Ben, Jessica, and Erin. Haley also leaves behind her father, Warren Starks; her grandmother, Margaret Ford; aunt and uncle, Tonia and Chris Jackson; cousin, Symone; sister, Lakeisha Leonard-Sanders; and brother, Joshua Starks. Haley was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roland Rue; and her aunt, Sandra Devoir. We invite you to a celebration of Haley's life on August 9, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
