Obituary Guy Francis Kopriva, 91, born to Guy A. and Mary Kopriva, passed away August 6, 2010, in Tacoma, WA. He is survived by his sister Mary McIntyre of Sun City, Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Loretta O'Rourke, Irene Bretzke, Genevieve Frederick, Helen Summers and his brother Eugene Kopriva. Before joining the Navy in 1942, Guy worked for the Boeing Company on the Bomber assembly line. Upon leaving the Navy in 1946, he attended Montana State University, graduating in 1949 with a degree in Business Administration. Guy put his business degree to work for the St. Regis Paper Company as a purchasing agent until his retirement. Guy enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, golfing, trap and target shooting and traveling. He was a member of the Tacoma Sportsman's Club, Olympia Gun Club, Knights of Columbus, NRA and the Tacoma Elks Lodge #174. Guy touched the hearts and lives of those around him through his generosity, sense of humor, creativity and wisdom. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, August 10th at 4:30 pm at Gaffney Funeral Home in Tacoma. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 11th at St. Leo's Catholic Church at 12:10 pm.
