Grace C. Yarbrough

March 12, 1914 — April 16, 2007

Obituary Our beloved Auntie Grace was born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin on March 12, 1914 to Percival and Rose Leblanc. She was one of seven children. Grace came to Tacoma when she was 4-years-old. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, retired from Days Clothing as a seamstress in 1976 and was a life long member of Sacred Heart Parish. She married Jesse Yarbrough in St. Louis in November of 1954. Jesse died in 1998 after a long illness. Grace was the last of her siblings to pass away and she dearly missed the company of her brothers and sisters. Grace is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. She was especially grateful for the love and support of her nephew William Cline and her niece Joan Dougherty. Grace loved dancing, singing and spending time with her family. Grace and Jesse's home was the center activity for the whole family and where, at any moment, Grace and her clan would burst out in song. Grace was still singing right up until the end of her life.
