Obituary Grace M. Grabar Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Grace M. Grabar, passed away at the age of 85 on Friday, February 19, 2010 in Tacoma, WA. Grace was born January 10, 1925 in Tacoma, WA to Hans and Alma Kamp. She graduated from Stadium High School in 1943. The most important things in Grace's life were her family, friends and loving husband of 60 years, who spent every day caring for Grace through her illness. Grace travelled extensively with her husband but her favorite time was spent at their condominium in Maui, Hawaii with her family and friends. She was a member of the Fircrest Golf Club since 1956, was active in the Shari Lee Thomas Orthopedic Guild and enjoyed Garden Club. Grace was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Hal Kamp. She is survived by her husband Victor Grabar; daughters, Vicki Ramoska (Mike), and Toni Grabar; son, Jerry Grabar (Stacy); grandsons, Alek and Andre Ramoska, Jake and Maxwell Grabar; nieces, Janet Holm and Diane Woolley. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Hearthside Manor, Lisa Austin of Hospice, the University Place Fire Department and medics and a special thank you to Dr. Erin Dodge for her kindness, gentle care and support. Funeral services will be held, Friday, February 26, 2010, 10:30 am St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7112 So. 12th St. Tacoma. A reception will follow at Fircrest Golf Club, 1500 Regents Blvd, Fircrest. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Multicare Hospice, The Alzheimer's Association, ( www.alz.org ) or St. Charles Borromeo School.
